Reduce Flanking

Crucial: Reduce Ceiling Flanking

Ceilings often have the most flanking paths due to lighting, plumbing, duct, gaps in the sub-floor above, soffits, ceiling fans, etc. The noise reduction products listed below have proven to isolate these flanking paths with ease and minimal cost.

Crucial: Reduce Wall Flanking

Walls typically have fewer flanking paths than ceilings. Without treating these flanking paths and fully sealing the walls, the ability of any soundproofing material for walls to reduce flanking noise will be significantly hindered.
