RSIC Brand Clips

The RSIC Clips are used for decoupling soundproofing on ceilings and floors to isolate airborne noise and footfall impact noise. Furring Hat Channel pressure fits into the RSIC-1 and drywall or plywood is then fastened to the hat channel. The resilient rubber base increases performance in all frequencies with significant gains in low frequencies when compared to the similar RSIC-V. The spacing for installation is the same as other similar resilient sound clips.
The RSIC-V is the value version of the RSIC-1 without the resilient base. The performance of the RSIC-V is more in line with resilient channel, but without the risk of short circuiting the channel. The spacing for installation is the same as other similar resilient clips.
The RSIC-DC04 is a multi-purpose L bracket clip used as a sway brace for double stud walls, decoupler for top plate framing, soffits, and to decouple framing blocks.
The RSIC-1 EXT04 is used to decouple ceilings with uneven joists or in old ceilings with low hanging plumbing and electrical. The spacing for installation is the same as other similar resilient clips.
The RSIC-1.5 CRC is used for easy attachment to cold rolled channel, a material commonly found in commercial ceiling assemblies. Instead of using wire to tie the furring hat channel directly to the cold rolled channel, the clip attaches to the cold rolled channel allowing significantly more flex in the hat channel between each clip. The spacing for installation is the same as other similar resilient clips.
